A CPHA-organized trash pickup occurred from Coyote almost to the Youngsville dump. About 74 bags of trash were collected. Thanks to Steven Martinez, Vernon Ortega, Robert Aragon and his children, Connie Martinez, Beth Ferguson, Amie Martinez, Lynnell Reese, Liane Martinez, AJ Martinez, Tony Reis, Mark and Betty Chalom, Ramey and Jo Douglas, and Rick and Katy Blanchard for helping out. Special thanks to Connie Martinez for hosting this event, Robert Aragon for getting the trash bags, Lynnell Reese for the pick up implements, Amie Martinez for the water, and to everyone else who contributed to this community effort.
On several subsequent weekends Temple Gethsemani members picked up trash all the way to the Canones bridge. A final bag count wasn’t obtained but it was at least 300 bags of trash collected. Thank you!
